Started on the pots and pans thing by first or second grade. Was told I'd have to wait until 3rd grade to start lessons. Answer: Spring 1977

What was the first concert you saw?
Captain and Tennile at Glen Oak Ampetheater, likely about 1976. First show I saw on my own urging was: Foreigner (Cheap Trick opener) at Robertson Memorial Fieldhouse in late 1977 (before Double Vision).Saw AC/DC open for UFO at the Fieldhouse that Spring - Highway to Hell Tour!!

What was your favorite concert?
Phish 10/31/1995 - amazing energy in the room. Metallica on The Monsters of Rock Tour - Summer 1988 was pretty cool. It was at Alpine. We snuck into the pavilion and you could hear 30,000 people behind you OVER the PA screaming "Master!, Master!" Mind blowing. Uncle John's Band Spring 1988 is what turned me on to the Dead (sad, but true - even though I first saw the Dead on 12/28/1981) - You never shut up, do you?!? - Rachel
